Capitalizing on a huge increase in demand for CBD products across the U.S., Green Growth Brands Inc. (CSE: GGB; OTCQB: GGBXF) has officially surpassed 50 retail locations since beginning a campaign of opening stores back in February.
The 51st Seventh Sense-branded storefront just opened up at Bay Park Square in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Newly opened Seventh Sense stores are also found in states such as Kentucky, Indiana, Tennessee, Wisconsin, Illinois, Arizona, and California.
While many CBD brands have focused on vape oil and edible products such as gummies in the wake of the 2018 Farm Bill legalizing hemp production, Seventh Sense stores instead go the topical route. They currently offer a wide range of lotions, balms, creams, bath scrubs, and sleep fragrances infused with hemp-based CBD.
In addition to the 51 stores currently up and running, Seventh Sense is also now accompanied by an online retail presence to ship products nationwide.
Commenting on the rate of new store openings, Green Growth’s Chief Executive Officer Peter Horvath had this to say:
That newly updated target number is a significant bump from the company’s previously stated goal of hitting triple digits with 100 stores by the end of the 2019 calendar year.
As part of the plan to reach that doubled number of storefronts, Green Growth announced an arrangement earlier this week to open 70 locations through various Brookfield Properties shopping centers across the country. Horvath commented on the news:
There are already seven existing Green Growth owned CBD stores at Brookfield locations, and that number will spike in the coming months as more mall shops open their doors through the arrangement.
Besides the Seventh Sense shops, Green Growth also just announced a new line of female-oriented shops titled Green Lily, with four locations due to open at Brookfield sites in the coming months.
