While racing to open hundreds of CBD storefronts and mall kiosks across the United States, Green Growth Brands Inc. (CSE: GGB; OTCQB: GGBXF) is also bringing new cannabis dispensaries under the company banner.

This latest retail location joins the Green Growth roster in Las Vegas as the company officially closes the acquisition of Henderson Organic Remedies LLC (more commonly known as The+Source Henderson).

The completed deal marks a second Las Vegas buyout for the company, after initially snapping up a first The+Source shop in Las Vegas.

With that acquisition completed, Green Growth currently holds seven operational dispensary licenses in the Vegas area, in addition to running two cultivation buildings and a separate production site.

Commenting on how The+Source Henderson had already been under Green Growth management throughout the months prior to closing, Chief Executive Officer Peter Horvath had this to say:

In that time, we have grown revenue, transactions and gross margin by double digits. Our ability to significantly improve top performing dispensaries, in a market that has seen a significant uptick in competition, is a testament to our expertise in retail operations.

With cannabis remaining illegal at the federal level, growth on that side of the industry is currently restricted to the 11 states that allow recreational usage and the 33 that have legalized medical marijuana.

The company’s hemp-based CBD operations on the other hand have more than doubled this year as industrial hemp operations are now legal nationwide.

Earlier this month, Green Growth celebrated the opening of more than 100 Seventh Sense Botanical mall shops, which offer topical CBD skincare products.

Seventh Sense store number 105 is now open for business at the La Plaza Mall located in McAllen, Texas. Other recent Seventh Sense kiosk openings have taken place in New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Minnesota, and Connecticut.

All 105 of those stores have come online in less than a year, with the first Seventh Sense shop officially beginning sales in February of 2019.

While CBD oils meant for consumption in sublingual or vape form are expected to see much stricter regulations by the end of the year, topical CBD health and wellness products in the beauty sector are currently exploding in popularity.
