With more than 51 CBD stores now open across the United States, Green Growth Brands (CSE: GGB; OTCQB: GGBXF) is expanding its leadership team with the addition of a new Chief Marketing Officer to lure in a broad spectrum of new customers.
Jann Parish — former CMO for the globally known lingerie company Victoria’s Secret and recipient of Brand Innovator’s “100 Most Innovative Women in Marketing” award — was appointed to the position effective this morning.
Prior to working with Victoria’s Secret, Parish was instrumental to the #mycalvins campaign from Calvin Klein, which was designed to appeal to millennial consumers who are also currently driving CBD sales.
In her new role, Parish will be responsible for differentiating the company’s CBD and cannabis brands, as well as raising awareness about the management services organization side of Green Growth operations.
Parish issued this statement about officially joining the company today:
Green Growth is currently seeking to open 200 CBD locations across the U.S. by the end of the year through a combination of Seventh Sense Botanical and Green Lily storefronts. Many of those new stores will be located in Brookfield Properties shopping centres through a new agreement struck earlier in June.
While offering new topical CBD products has become a major focus for Green Growth in the wake of industrial hemp legalization after the signing of the Agricultural Improvement Act, the company also recently launched a new cannabis brand.
Focused on active lifestyle consumers, the Camp brand of cannabis products is first launching through existing Green Growth Nevada dispensaries but is slated to open its own dedicated storefront later this year.
Additionally expanding into cannabis management services in other states, Green Growth announced a $54 million deal to acquire Florida-based Spring Oak Greenhouses earlier this month. Aside from a recently opened treatment centre, Spring Oaks is licensed for up to more 35 locations across Florida.
