Green Growth Brands (CSE: GGB; OTCQB: GGBXF) is expanding and has created the new position of Chief Operating Officer. The man chosen to fill this role is Randy Whitaker, a former Belk and Victoria’s Secret employee.

According to Green Growth Brands CEO Peter Horvath, there is a pre-existing work relationship between himself and Whitaker, allowing him to personally speak to the experience and talent Whitaker brings to the business. The pair worked together extensively at Victoria’s Secret.

Whitaker most recently worked for Belk, Inc., a chain of 293 department stores, in the Executive Vice President position and Chief Stores officer. Before his time with Belk, Whitaker’s resume includes 15 years with Victoria’s Secret where he held the position of Executive Vice President of Store Operations, managing 1,100 stores and maintaining a $2 billion operating budget to allow the business to see $6 billion in revenue each year.

He is reportedly known for his business acumen and intense focus in all previous business roles, as he has built teams that performed well and assisted the business that hired him in achieving desired results in a fast-paced market environment.

Green Growth Brands hopes Whitaker will add his experience and talents to their efforts to provide high-quality cannabis experiences to customers, thereby helping the company continue to grow and increase revenue.

Recently, Green Growth Brands announced they have opened two more CBD shops in shopping malls, expanding their ability to serve customers. The newest shops were in a plaza in Tennessee and one in Indiana, which joined a shop already open in Kentucky. The brand hopes to expand on their brick-and-mortar locations while continuing to operate an online store as well.

Green Growth Brands hopes to build a strong relationship with customers, providing them a great experience with every visit to their stores and hopefully a connection that expands to orders through their online operations as well. Their business mission is to promote lives through wellness and reach customers through emotion-driven branding.
